Simple Lavendar Chikan Work Salwar

This is a simple salwar set (nice Chikan work on fabric isn't it- a Lucknow speciality )
Neckline and sleeve hem has been worked up using bias strips.

The salwar also had to be joined rather than cut on fold, since the embroidery pattern was not provided for on both ends. Hence the fabric had to be cut and used as front portion of salwar. Since the join would seem obvious, added contrast piping to it.

The neckline at back as 2 bias strips to add zing.

The neckline at front is an experimentation of using bias strips directly as contrast patch even in curved necklines. Though i did not get the exact shape intended, the resultant shape of the neck was good as well. Do you agree. As i need feedback on this neckline since it is an experimentation with bias strips and their varied usages.
