Barbie is red hot but had a bad hair day!!!!

DD's Barbie got a new dress today, when i changed her into it, i noticed she had a bad hair, (yesterday my DD was giving her some haircare!) a photo with bad hair & new dress, no way, so i washed her hair (real shampoo that i use for my DD, then dried it and then gave her the stole to complete the look, what say

She had her hair combed, did you notice the hair fall, even Barbie is not immune to it!

Ready to flaunt her revamped hair, (yes it is jumpclip in her , think of upcycling, I hit the limits didn't I)

Sporting her new look with pride! That stole is the one i made long time back (Read years back) to practice 4 strand braid !!! Wohooo!

This is the fabric for the 4th dress of Navarathri collection, hmm i not able to make up my mind on which design to choose as i love the fabric very much and don't want to spoil it by any means!!!

Barbie Doll Giveaway - Why no takers as yet?

Hi all, guess you are all having a busy week, why no responses for the Barbie Doll Dress giveaway. Only when i get some response, will i be able to make the outfit in each category and them make them available for voting.

Please respond i really wanted to share the festive spirit of Navarathri that is coming up in a fortnight. Hence hosting this giveaway. Its surprising indeed to find not many takers for something that is given away sincerely and for free.

Come on. Please don't let me down on this, i am sure a household has at least one Barbie fan. ....

BTW, Navarathri dress 1 is nearing completion and Dress 2 design is ready, so watch out for both of them in the next few posts....

Barbie Doll Dress Giveaway

Since i have an injured thumb and couldn't do much productive sewing, thought of fiddling with Barbie doll's wardrobe and made this Ballerina outfit, (ahem those shoes are not ballerina, yet to make one kindly excuse!!!). Suddenly this thought stuck me, why don't i host a give away of a Barbie doll outfit to my followers.

When i thought of hosting a give away and this being the first one, i had few issues on hand, like how to include people who live abroad as  international courrier charges are like very high for me, but i want to give everyone a chance, since this giveaway is due by Vijayadasami, nearly a month away, i thought i can ask your help itself in figuring out the way of sending the dress through cheapest yet safe possible option and how to do it.

Why barbie doll dress, it is generic sizing and most of the households have at least one Barbie fan.

My DD's Barbie doll gets a new dress

My DD's first Barbie has got a new dress. My DD wants her Barbie to have an exclusive homemade wardrobe as herself, may be even better than her! So stay tuned for more such Barbie dresses as well as and when i my DD gets bored seeing her little muse in a dress, its time to sew a new one....!
