Birthday Gown - HELP please!

Almost finished Adithi's Birthday Gown, i chose the bling fabric for bodice, as she loves bling, got a feeling if it might end up being too tacky or ala a dance floor outfit, so played with underlining in the front bodice as can be seen below

Here is the skirt portion

Then added another tier of remaining bling fabric to skirt and pinched it to make petals!

Do you see the underlining pattern on front bodice, is this dress looking too tacky? do i need to tone it down? i thought of adding may be euro-ruffles at center or even add fabric flowers ala the Pink Petal skirt's Cowl Top, what do you think, inputs please, i am running out of time, need to finish this today and make a casual dress to worn on her b'day during day time, this dress is for the party later in the evening, need to make party prep tomorrow, so all i have is today, i am now off to make the casual outfit, and will get back to the blog to read your valuable inputs! Thanks.

This is how it looks without the pouffy petticoat underneath!

Won a giveaway ! Crescent Skirt Pattern

The loving & generous Marina from Frabjous Couture hosted a Crescent skirt pattern giveaway. Since i had not used any commercial pattern till date, wanted to see how it is, how it is graded, marketed and stuff. This was a nice opportunity and what's more i turned out to be lucky and won.

Marina promptly sent across a mail to let me know that i am the lucky one, got my mailing address and sent the post right away! i received it yesterday. Still have to look into it more deeply, since i am bit hung over with my Dream machine (5 thread overlocker) didn't manage time, will sit down and write a detailed post about it soon.

Marina is such a sweet girl, so nice of her to send a personlized thank you for participating card alongside the actual giveaway pattern. Thanks Marina. I am touched and happy to have known you through the blog world.

BTW the universal secret and power of thoughts are for sure strong and true, i made the School Reopens New Dress inspired by Lonsdale dress and written a comment when i made the first one and then again after finishing second dress renamed as Adjustable Summer Dress as well just to thank Tasia for the inspiration, though i saw loads of comments on Lonsdale dress, my comment curiously never made it to the post.

I was wondering why and earlier thought it was a mistake by oversight as i had just profusely thanked and had a link to the dress i made added to the post, but after 2 comments still can't see them and then got fed up and left it at that, only Tasia will know why she didn't feel like posting the comment, and btw it is her site and her right to choose. So I left it at that.
About few days later what a coincidence, i happen to win a giveaway of Tasia's crescent skirt pattern. Now how do you infer that as , some super power linking us through odd ways. God knows.

Anyways, this thought just stuck me as i was writing the post, so shared it with you all. So what is the basis on which you reject comments. I have never rejected any comment so far (except all those junk that directly gets sent to spam folder by blogger) What do you have to say regarding choosing and displaying comments, even those which are non-offensive or intrusive in any way. Your thoughts are most welcome.

Feedback Please !

This post is just get valuable feedback of Adithis Amma Sews Readers'. Somehow plan to entice you into leaving more comments. I do need them badly! Don't i deserve some comments for all the efforts that go into each post / tutorial / information shared !

PLEASE PLEASE Respond. There has been a banner change ; Maria of Agape Love Designs has been generous to do it and the blog button is in WIP. Not a single comment on that; after all there was hours and hours of work put in by Maria and quite a few by self as well; now that i have lost in touch with css and coding stuff, have to brush up and manage, so it takes double the time what it should normally take for a web design professional. After all those hours, i would like to get some comments, good, bag, ugly, critic, something.

It is not for the design part alone for which i am requesting comments, if you happen to read ANY Post which you find it interesting, intriguing, helpful, offensive, whatever you feel revert back. In case you happen to use any of the Tutorials hosted on Adithis Amma Sews and / or find them to be useful/helpful please do respond and give a feedback, for all those hours spent on making the tutorial will be made worthwhile by thoughtful comments.

Today i sat up for couple of hours late night to spice up comments section so that it will be inviting and interesting for those who do oblige to respond.

I would also like to thank all those readers who do regularly respond, Thank you so much all you sweet friends! Thanks a ton!

Comments actually brighten up my day, before i check blog stats for the day, the first thing i look for is comments and yearn for it badly! Though i see a huge increase in number of hits, mostly my tutorials, that means lot of readers are interested in using them, then is too high a demand to ask for a response, that's the least that can be done isn't it. What do you think? I do not even have CAPTCHA or other kind of painful add-ons to posting comments, SO what are you waiting for, go ahead send in your messages,

Tutorial for Dhoti Pants  / Cowl Pants are in draft stage, somehow am not able to find the motivation to spruce me up to finish it off, your comments are my tonic, let me wait for response and rejuvenate self through your comments, so go ahead and comment to recent posts, older posts, posts you loved / liked /or even hated! Tutorial page also invites suggestions, what future tutorials do you look forward to etc.,

KEEP THOSE COMMENTS coming in...... I am waiting ??????
