We have a Winner - Barbie Doll Dress Giveaway... !!!

Barbie Doll Dress giveaway had 2 responses one each from Megha and Poornima. The latter happens to be my sister and hence the dress i stitch would come down to my DD's barbie, so i guess i would make the Evening gown requested by Megha.. the WIP shots are what you get to see here....

Barbie is such a co-operative dress form, its just that i am running out of ideas for the day and will soon wrap it up, so how i reach you Meghna please contact me by mail and lets work out the way it can be sent across to you.

This giveaway didn't have many takers, so i am bit wary of hosting future giveaways, but this was hosted with spirit of the festive season out here, so its fine by me, ....

Barbie Doll Giveaway - Why no takers as yet?

Hi all, guess you are all having a busy week, why no responses for the Barbie Doll Dress giveaway. Only when i get some response, will i be able to make the outfit in each category and them make them available for voting.

Please respond i really wanted to share the festive spirit of Navarathri that is coming up in a fortnight. Hence hosting this giveaway. Its surprising indeed to find not many takers for something that is given away sincerely and for free.

Come on. Please don't let me down on this, i am sure a household has at least one Barbie fan. ....

BTW, Navarathri dress 1 is nearing completion and Dress 2 design is ready, so watch out for both of them in the next few posts....

Barbie Doll Dress Giveaway

Since i have an injured thumb and couldn't do much productive sewing, thought of fiddling with Barbie doll's wardrobe and made this Ballerina outfit, (ahem those shoes are not ballerina, yet to make one kindly excuse!!!). Suddenly this thought stuck me, why don't i host a give away of a Barbie doll outfit to my followers.

When i thought of hosting a give away and this being the first one, i had few issues on hand, like how to include people who live abroad as  international courrier charges are like very high for me, but i want to give everyone a chance, since this giveaway is due by Vijayadasami, nearly a month away, i thought i can ask your help itself in figuring out the way of sending the dress through cheapest yet safe possible option and how to do it.

Why barbie doll dress, it is generic sizing and most of the households have at least one Barbie fan.
