Wrap skirt with cascade!

I saw this post on Territory ahead skirt and was inspired to make one for my daughter.

Instead of A-line skirt, i decided to make it as wrap around using leftover fabric (remember the Angrakhas for my Sister and SIL)

Though not quite pleased with the cascade drape, not as exact as in Territory Ahead Skirt, but drapes fine. Most pleasing part of this outfit was it took under an hour to finish from draft to completion (the waistband cum ties took most of it as it had put joints to scrap fabric to get the exact length.

  1. Hi! Shams here. :) The skirt is cute, but you are right, the drape seems to be "lost" one on side. It's a little hard for me to figure it out without seeing the skirt unfurled. Maybe you could post a photo of the skirt held wide open (not on the body). I am not sure how I would translate that skirt to a wrap, off the top of my head.

  2. Thank you for the link. I will try this for my daughter.

  3. Post a better pic da, the dress looked beautiful in person.
